i have an 89 ranger with a carb 5.0 in it wat kind of throttle cables can be used?

I used the stock on in my 93 with a 5.0. I modified the stock bracket to bolt to the manifold and had to loop the cable around once since it was too long. Worked great.

^I had my stock one looped on my 84 Ranger, but the pedal was damn stiff, stiffer than the clutch pedal. Bought a universal throttle cable from spectre, works perfect

If you run into issues down the road take V-8power's advice. Lokar is the bomb. I'm using one and no issues at all. Very smooth.
