I think you are trading your truck for one that is 8 years older. And a Chevy at that. Seems like something of a step back to me.

Kinda like when my sister in law went from a 3.0 Shadow to a 3.8 Sable of the same year. Not exactly an improvement.

I do like that body style though.

Nice truck... but the square wheel wells strike again. :D

Almost too tall for me personally, kinda makes it hard to justify for a truck.

Well this truck has basically rebuilt everything and my trucks starting to run not to it's fullest saying the least and im just attempting to let her go before I have to pay money to fix it. I've always told myself if I still have my ranger and the engine lets go i'm doing a 302 swap. That still stands. This isn't a positive thing yet just an almost positive. It's about a 90% chance of happening.

if i were going to drive any 2 trucks it would be either a ford or chevy, just because they are both american, but as long as ford is around i'd rather drive that. That truck isn't so bad but you are trading down 8 years...but it sounds pretty good.

it looks like a good trade, my only concern would who did the component rebuilds and what quaility of work they put out.
You might want to get the reciepts and attempt to find customers and get their response.
If the owner did this work why is he trading a basically brand new vehicle he put so much work in?
