Due to health reasons ( cardiac rehab ), I won't be able to attend, but used to spend a lot of time there, deer & turkey hunting. Great place to visit.
Enjoy, folks. I'm envious.

Well, I’m gonna have to wait a bit before registering because there’s a lot that needs to happen yet since I need to be better prepared than last year. I still have issues with both the Ranger and the Choptop that need resolved.

That said, I’m gonna be doing my best to make it and possibly a +1, but all is a little up in the air at the moment.

As far as the registration, I'm hoping to get all that done tomorrow, since it's transfer day (the money for my pay check gets transferred in and I transfer it back out paying bills).

I appreciate everyone, kinda wish I would have called off my attempt sooner last year and would have called for help. I had a self-rescue plan in place last year and probably could have made it, just things started to snowball and I got upset.

Ranger is running pretty good this year, I just still have some annoying things to address and instead of trying to work on it, I’ve been trying to help others out and catch up on some things. Gotta get back to my stuff. Big thing is the Ranger needs a new hitch because it’s rusted and too low, so that means I need a new rear bumper because it’s rusted and the right height for a hitch.

Choptop is running good too, but it needs the new gas tank in and the front axle brackets fixed so the axle can go back together plus whatever else I can clean up on it.

F-150 is still holding up. Dump truck is the next major project, but the heads will be the delay. So I’m hoping when it decides to stop raining enough for me to do a few things, I need to get dad’s Ranger frame finished with patches, pull the heads off the dump so they can go to the machine shop, and get wrenching on the rest of the fleet.

I registered, but in all honesty, I’m a weak 50-50. It being the 25th anniversary, I’d love to participate, come out and meet everybody, but it’s not around the corner, and I’m not getting any younger. I’ll update as we get closer.

I’ll be bringing the Missing Linc if I come. I do have one question. When you say “off-road,” do you mean riding on the shoulder and riding in parking lots? Do you think my truck will get dirty?

I'm looking forward to it again. I'm gonna be doing some small day trips to try and find some cool routes for trail rides if anyone would like to join I will make sure and post dates.
Punkin Hollow RD in Frenchburg KY; it gets narrow, crosses Right Fork Cane Creek more than once, and requires 4x4.

Pitter-patter, let’s get at ‘er.
I am going to actually see if I could come to this event.
Its a bit of a hike.. and I have some more to do on the Grimace before I make a trip like that. BUT, this is right up our alley and my family would love it!

How's the weather out there that time of year?
We would have to either drive 2 cars or I could consider towing the ranger out there with my wifes tallhoe... but im going to see

Weather will usually be pretty nice, may be chilly in the morning. Last year was beautiful, no issues at all. As for being a bit of a hike, I recommend taking your Ranger instead of hiking to it :p

Tell your wife to bring her short one too. There might be a few single guys around camp that could use some company.

:sexe:

(Is that going to far?)
