ok i had a lil too much fun yesterday on the mountain and messed up a few things.....most i could fix on the trail. some i couldnt:thefinger: killed my alternator and had to change it in the woods(that was simple) but the truck wouldnt stop overheating,(im guessin due to all the mud on the radiator/motor???) but the main thing that is driving me insane is that for some reason it wont start or run if i push the clutch all the way to the floor. it took us over 25 minutes to figure out why it wouldnt start because i kept pushing pedal all the way down, lol. i tried to hold the gas down the depress the clutch after the truck was running but it acts like it looses all electrical power as if something could me grounding out......i managed to get home by barely pushing the pedal in enough to get it thru the gears .......any help would be appreciated. ...

Either a wire is frayed and is grounding when you push the clutch petal in or the clutch start switch is fubared.

Unhook the clutch switch and see if it keeps happening. If it does you have something screwed up and shorting through the starter enable circuit.

I hooked a few of my wires up backwards at the main relay when I did my engine swap and anytime I did anything that would kill starter enable, let off the key, let the clutch out, etc, the engine died.
