I recently put extended brake lines [off a 250 4x4] on my 90 ranger but they where rubbing the tire when turned lock to lock. So I zip tied them out the way. Yet, I am worried of them worming into the coil and getting pinched. So its a rock and a hard place.
What did you all rig up to keep them off the tire and out the spring? I am thinking some kind of blocking plate over two winds of the coil may work; not sure how to fasten it all so the fascining doesn't feed the line into the coil.
I'm driving it very slowly for now with lots of space and reaction time for a lock up/ brake loss
