Hey gang,
So I have a Mazda b2300, I really love it but I bought it lowered and I have been driving it that way for about a year. I would like to use my truck for... Truck like uses, towing, light off-road, bug outs, camping etc...

Problem is I have 0 stock parts to swap back on. I looked under and I have an Eibach lowering kit on this thing.

I guess my #1 question is, can I flip these Eibach hangers to re-gain height in the rear.
Sub question if I can, where can I find cheap stock height Front springs, other than a pull yard.

I appreciate the advice. Im a fairly experienced mechanic, so fire away.

well I dont have any pics at the moment... Im not exactly sure why they would help though. I have an eibach lowering kit, Im asking about the rear hangers... can I flip them, or has anyone done it. If not I'll flip them and see what happens.
I figure flipped since the stocks flip these would to, and worst case I may need to grind a locator tab off or something...

If the rears need it, later I can add a leaf nbd. I was thinking about doing this anyways to help with load.

the front is pretty straight forward, based on the camber its just springs and shocks...

Not sure about the rear. We like to see pics because we don't all know exactly what an Eibach lowering kit looks like or how it compares to the stock setup. I know I certainly don't. Pics help.

As for the front, you should be able to get springs just about anywhere. Wrecker, our classifieds section, LMC, Jegs, Rock Auto, Napa, dealer, just about anywhere.

Are you talking about the leaf springs under the axle, as in a "spring under" configuration? We'll assume it's 2wd? Is the front axle(s) an I-beam, or is it a tube-style? That would mean they put drop beams on it, which may not align properly when you lift it.

You should be able to cut the spring perches off and weld them back on to the top of the axle tube to regain stock height. Put proper shocks on it (front and rear), and stock coils back in. You'll need new (stock) beams if they are drop beams (may be a bit pricey). Then you should be at stock ride height. At this rate, you might as well just put a 4" lift kit on it, since you're already there. It would be all the same components, just 4" bigger.

I put it up on a lift last week and verified the front setup is just springs and shocks so that's nbd, but the rears.... Well it is what it is.

Thanks gang

Get stock hangers and bolt them on. That's at least a 3/4 drop on there.

You should be able to flip the hangers around and reuse them.

There might be clearance problems if he flips those hangers. They are lowering hangers.

Ya, those are definitely aftermarket hangers, you can get factory ones just about anywhere, then just flip the shackle where its supposed to be, and bolt it all back together.

hey gang, thanks for the replies! It'll be 2 weeks till I can get the time to throw her up and flip the driverside and see about the clearance. If I can get away with as little purchasing as possible that would be great. :)

pontiacfieroguy: I'll pm you about the springs after I check the clearance.

What year is your truck? If you are 94-98 and have drop beams I'll pay shipping both ways to swap for my stockies
