Hey guys I am trying to get a Dana 30 under my truck. I called 6 states and they want $600+ to regear my axles. I was hoping someone on here would be able to help me out. Either help me set up my gears or point me to a cheaper shop. Any and all help is appreciated..

Is that including gears and install kit? If so that's a fair price. I shelled out $700 to have both my axles done and that was with having the front axle already geared. Rob knows a guy that will do them for $150 an axle, that's who did mine and it was the cheapest I could find. He did an excellent job.

No. I have the gears but no install kit. The front axle isn't installed and they said that would cut the labor cost. As of right now I'm planning in installing the front axle and figure out gearing as the cash comes.

Also, I guess we aren't supposed to sell here but if anyone has Dana 30 and/or Ford 8.8 4.56 or 4.88 gears laying around I would like to talk to you.
