So, I went out today, jacked up the last corner of the green Ranger and got a tire on. Ran straps and a come along to a tree and winched it forward so I have room again. Both bumpers got tweaked, front valance ripped off, one fog light broken, tailgate dented and scratched, handle is oddly tweaked but works, fuel tank punctured and the frame got a ding on each side. It’s where I was intending to plate, but still upsetting.
I also have more problem. The front really could stand to be a bit lower. There’s still some adjustment to the keys, but the A-arms are pretty much on the bump stops. In the rear, I’m maybe an 1.5” off the bump stops, the leaf springs are almost flattened against the overloads. Pinion angle is way wrong and the rear is sitting significantly lower than the front currently. Rear seems surprisingly springy still, I might be able to get away with adding one more leaf to the packs but I’m not exactly sure if that will get me where I want or not.
