it is highly discolored.... kinda like it has something to do with the heat?? but i haven't a damn clue lol

Coolant leak into the cylinder,head gasket or cracked head.
Head gasket is what I suspected, and wanted to have someone confirm it as a possibility. Thanx.

Heads were done not that long ago, so it *shouldn't* be a cracked head. But then, the gasket shouldn't be bad, either, unless I messed up installing it.

Which engine is this on?It looks like a head gasket/torque issue from what I can tell from the pictures,because it looks like spill over from one cyl to the other.

If it was mine,I'd clean the surfaces with wire wheel on a grinder,inspect for cracks with magnifying glass,check with steel straight edge and feeler guage and go from there.Might be the machine shop let you down.

Some of these motors require new headbolts as well.
