So I'm almost ready to drop my new engine into my truck and noticed a little hose fitting that I had not seen before :icon_confused:...wondering if anyone could help me identify it. Thanks.

I believe that is a drain for the a/c coil in the cab when it sweats

Looks like the drip tube for A/C evaporator tray.

Evaporator drys the air inside the cab, when defrost or A/C is on, that moisture drips into a tray and then drains out through the tube to drip on the ground

Or heater core failure drain, equally unimportant to an engine install :)
