whats the bolt pattern for a 79 f150 4x4 i went and bought some factory aluminum rims off a newer f150 and they wouldent fit so i drilled em out but they ride weird. i know probally not safe so i parked the truck. its 5 lug. any help would be apreciated.

Pre-'97 is 5x5.5", '97 up is metric, I don't know exact but google will be your friend. Lug nuts are different too.

Yep 97+ has a 5 on 135mm bolt pattern while the 96- have 5 on 5.5" and as mentioned they are hub centric vs lug centric unless you drilled them out exactly where it need to be the wheels will be WAY out of balance.

yea they are way out of ballance haha. i parked it cuz i dont wanna be goin down the road and end up vibrating the lugnuts off. i guess i shoulda checked before i spend money on the dang things.
