So I'm having idling issues and what I think is a misfire. Plugs 1,2,3 are wet with fuel when I pull them after running for a bit. And 4,5,6 are all sooty and black. Tried cleaning sensors and still not fixed. Switched coil packs and that didn't fix it either. Should I be looking at getting new plugs and wires?

Sounds like WAY too much fuel for whatever reason.

Just throwin this out there.. But, leaky injectors? Bad FPR? Clogged air filter? Ninjas pouring gas into you intake when you aren't looking?:icon_rofl:

Before you replace anything, Do you have any codes?

Yes, look on the passenger side of the intake, toward the front, you will see a fuel line connection, that is the Fuel Pressure Regulator(FPR)
It will also have a vacuum line hooked up, remove this vacuum line and check to see if there is fuel in it, if there is the FPR has a bad diaphragm and will need to be replaced.
The vacuum line is sucking in that leaking fuel, which is fouling your spark plugs.

Yeah checked the ohm's on all the spark plugs and they read 17 ohms. Now to pull them and see if they look ok.
Also the vacuum line coming from the FPR didn't smell like gas.

Funny thing is the computer would give KOEO codes, cleared them up. But wouldn't run the test for KOER. (Shrug shoulders) think I'm going to change the computer out.

I agree with Ron.

Vacuum lines, fuel pressure, and other issues regarding your idling are associated with this.

Let us know if you end up changing the computer out.

An entire side just doesn't go bad at once, like all your spark plugs, injectors, or wires. Even the coil pack, which DOES go out, will not be the problem.

Crazy thought:

Could the wire that the ECU grounds to fire that "batch" be grounded out somewhere along the way. Effectively making the injectors stuck open whenever there is power to the ECU? Causing enough fuel to be dumped into the intake to flood that side AND make the other side run rich?

:End crazy.

Good luck.
