I just bought a 78 or 79 Dana 44 complete... except for the hubs are apart in a rubber maid container. I have a 96 f150 with the Dana 44 ttb and warn hubs. Will they go on and work properly? What about any other parts being interchangeable?

You more than likely have the high pinion axle so yes the gears will work. You need to make sure the axle from the 96 is a high pinion axle though.

Everything is interchangeable between the TTB 44 and the solid 44 except the knuckles and shafts (providing both are hi-pinion, the new body style mid 96+ F150 trucks started using the 8.8 front housing)
