window switch lights

Just bought a 2005 Ranger XLT. Are there lights in the window and door lock/unlock switches? I can't find anything about these switches in the owner's manual (meaning no listing of replacement bulbs). All other lights work fine, but these switches are dark. Thank you.

Might be worth taking it apart enough to check and clean the connector for those bulbs before you try to chase replacements. Contacts could be oxidized.

My 2011 never had lights in those switches.

I can't answer your question but can say you'll find it useful to drop by when you're looking for answers on it, you will find there are a lot of friendly folks here looking for answers and/or to help, thankfully there are a score of very knowledgeable helpers.

I got a 93 in 06 and almost immediately picked up a CD Ford manual used in Ford dealership shops off ebay for just a few bucks. Almost a dozen years later I picked up a 96 Explorer and found one of it's CD's there also on the cheap, they are Extremely helpful

Thanks. I have the manual. I was thinking about taking the switches out to look for the lights, I asked here first to not waste my time (I'm in Texas, it's been over 100 degrees for over 46 days...).

I understand that man, living just across the Red River, I measured 111 today, first time there since the heat wave of 2011ish
