Ahhh good point... I've done this on vehicles as new as 2017 but it still had a key.

FYI, on the door touchpad, after you enter the 5 digit code for the drivers door hit 3-4 and it unlocks the other 3 doors.

let us all memorize our codes now.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

The 5-6 button will pop the trunk, hatch, or back glass depending on the vehicle.

No, that allows for a custom code to be programmed.
So if you wanted, it could be for self-destruct. I would make sure there was a timer involved....

And 9-0 must be the button to destroy the entire world. Right?
By itself, yes. But if you push 9-0 and 7-8 at the same time...…..

It locks the doors again.

My credo
Lead follow or get out of my way
So... I just ordered a new ignition key and FOB (they are one unit). Looking around a bit today... It seems I can easily program the FOB and also the ignition key since I have two working keys without any scan tool.

Also poked around looking at the OBDII adapters. I think I'm going to get the OBDLink MX+... cause ya just never know what you might have to work on and this one has options.

The real problem now... my wife created this thing called "zero spend month". I don't like it at all!! But at this time... I "want" the adapter... I don't "need" the adapter. She does a really good job of keeping us on track... so I will play by the rules.
