I Broke my vacuum bleeder (the pump handle snapped at the hinge). So I bought a new one.

I also picked up a Fuel System Injection Pressure Tester Kit from Advance to make changing the fuel filter on the 2011 less messy.

I also picked up this funnel kit to try out. It worked well on the 2011. It has adapters for a whole bunch of different vehicle manufacturers. One fits the 2011 and another fits the clown car. It looks like the Mazda one might on the 2019. Better than the other funnels I have if it works as well as I think it will.

EDIT: The Mazda one worked on the 2019. So, I have an adapter for every vehicle in the fleet. And the thing worked so much better than my other funnels.

My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Just left hazard fraught with a new portable garage since mine finally collapsed last winter... got 6-7 years out of the previous one.

Also got myself a trailer tounge jack to save myself from THAT headache again -__- AND one of them new fangled airless sprayers for various things.. first order of business with that will be plastidipping the ranger 😀

Wheels are gravy, just make sure they're clean and they're pretty much good to go.

In my experience years ago with the stuff (did a whole car with rattle cans back when that sort of application was new) you'll end up with the best looking finish if you put it on extremely heavy... JUUUUUUST before it wants to run.

This is easy to do with smaller areas like wheels or even doors.. but hoods/roofs/bedsides really require application with a sprayer or else you'll end up with "streaking". The key to a nice smooth finish is being able to get whatever youre coating evenly wet.

If taping is required.. you need to pull the tape ASAP after your done spraying while it's still wet or else you'll peel up bits of the dip along with the tape.

Whenever I get around to it I'll definitely share!

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Picked this up recently. It's a vacuum setup for filling cooling systems. Also includes a pressure tester.

Bought a Rigid No. 10 1/8" to 1" tubing cutter. 34 bucks but worth it. Finally pitched the Chinese cutter I had used for years. Danged rollers would chew up the tubing.

I scored a bunch of clearance tools at Autozone yesterday, I’ll have to get a pic or something. Most expensive was a temp gun for $20. Also got a valve lapping tool (it was like $3), spark plug gapping tool (a nice one), TFI module tool, some hose pinchers and I’m probably forgetting something. Picked up the sets of aluminum disconnect tools for AC and fuel recently too on clearance.

Went to hazard farts and snagged that welder cart, along with a couple welding magnets, a new map gas torch head, and one of those super wide jaw vice grip clamp jobbers.

Bought the magnets to assist with the exhaust for the ranger.. and am literally just realizing now that they won't work because stainless.... duh 😣😋

Some stainless is some degree of magnetic. Not sure about exhaust stainless though

Your tubing might be 409ss, which is magnetic.

Decided to try out the icon version of these flush side cutters while i waited for my snapon pair to be warrantied.
The edge doesn't hold up as well, and they're not as pointy, but they did the job i bought them for, which is pulling upholstery staples. Now i just need to not let my "boss" use my snapon ones anymore since he broke the tip off my old pair

Have you tried using a pair of curved head dykes?

The tube and muffler are 304 according to their fleabay descriptions... unsure about the cat and the 'axle hump' section. I'll try the magnet once I get home lol
