Im working on my 04 4.0 and I got the harmonic balancer/damper off. now I can't get it on. I Rented the kit from advance auto to pull and install mine but the installer tool doesn't reach the threads nor does the bolt. Is there a special trick to do this.

Well I was switching batteries in my 90 ranger and I hooked it up backwards. When I turned the key all the gauges went all the way up and I knew what I did so i got it disconected as fast as possible. Then when I got back in my cab It smelt kinda hot. Now i don't think im getting any spark. Any...
