okay, so im in the the process of purchasing a 2008 fx4 but the stock ride hight just wont do it for me. im planning on doing a 3" lift and 33" tires. can anyone suggest a affordable suspension lift? im not going to be going crazy in the bush just something for some quick and technical trails. also on my current ranger im running nokian vativa tires, theyre nice but are terrible in the mud. i dont want mud terrains but i know yokohoma makes a nice a/t tire. so does anyone know how the yoko tires preform? thnx for any input.

"Affordable" and "suspension lift" don't go real well together with anything 1998 & newer, unfortunately.
Superlift makes a decent basic kit for that truck. It's in the mid-high $1G range though.

Cheaper would be a bodylift. They cost in the mid $100 range and are easier to install as well. It will let you fit the 33s just the same.

an IFS suspension lift doesnt gain you much flex or ground clearance anyway...which are normally the advantages to a suspension lift.

You could go with the set-up I run plus a 3" bodylift would clear 33's nicely....... See my sig for details and pm me with question if you like...

Suspension lifts for our gen of trucks are ridiculous, I'm waiting till my warranty is up so I can sas it......

And don't expect any a/t to be too great in the mud....
