Hi folks,
Can you tell me if the linkage for a manual shift 1354Tcase will adapt easily........to an electric shift 1354Tcase?
If so does the electric-shift adapter have to change or does it have the manual shifter-mounting journals on it?

No.

The electric shift version uses a shaft from the rear that rotates and turns some magic inside to shift. The manual version uses sliding shift rails moved linearly from the front with not nearly so much magic involved.

Thanks Eric. I figured I'd have to change the whole set-up or go with Behemoth's adapter.

Thanks bros.
I'm looking into both methods.

I find it best to repair and maintain what I have.

Thanks for all the responses. I have a 1354 with an electric shift and the coupler has the journals for the manual set-up plus the floor is built for either. That is what I'll do.
