Welcome to TRS...maybe if you see some of the things you can do with your Ranger you might decide to keep it...the older ones are great to modify and your insurance is way lower than on newer vehicles...generally...

Looks like I'm keeping it, the 5.0 swap seems like an amazing idea, hopefully I can get that done in a few years, for the mean time it looks like I'm going to slowdown going up a hill, haha.

Third gear does it for me...I often make it up without slowing down too much and even without shifting out of 4th (I rarely use 5th)...especially if I have a bit of weight in the back...and I do mean a bit...I hauled 500 lbs this morning and had to shift to 3rd and even then I wasn't able to top 70 Km/ph...but it was a pretty steep and long incline...
