I have a 1994 Ranger XLT electric, all the electric components are toast. I just wanted to know if I could swap a V6 in its place. It was originally a gas Ranger that was turned into an electric truck. All wiring is still intact for the gas engine. What are my options, I would like to eventually pre run the truck.

Electric Rangers are sweet! If you're going to put an engine in and want something fun, DO THE V8 SWAP. You might as well do it while its convenient. Its really not that complicated to do the swap especially with a carbureted V8. If you don't want the V8, go with the 4.0. None of the other V6s are worth the time. Just make sure you have the 8.8 rear end.
