Just joined I have a 2.9l v6. I am looking to do a complete rebuild on it bore it out, cam, heads ect. What is everyones recommendations?

See my build thread lot of pics of part #s etc. I would recommend a lot of research. I feel as if I did it half assed and probably spent $3k.. do NOT recommend swapping all sensors/components at once. Try engine/internals with what you have for sensors/control components in my opinion.

I have a ? Would it be ok to shave off the top of a piston. I bought a set of 2.8l pistons from a shop cause they said it will work but now they stick up like 3 thousands. What would you recommend?

Sometimes you can find a head gasket with thicker compressed measurement.
