2000 ranger clutch master cylinder r/r

i,am trying to remove clutch master cylinder i can't seem to release the clutch safety switch from the mater push rod any input would help me out or any photo;s

Ok, on the body of the switch there is a little "slide" that is retained by two barbs.

Those "Barbs" each have a little tab on them.
{Pressing those two tabs towards each other will allow
you to slip the slide upwards (towards the pedal)

Once it's up 3/8" or so it will literally fall off the clutch multifunction
switch and allow the switch to be pulled sideways off the pushrod.

IF you could SEE it you'd probably have it off already.
