This is my 2001 Ford ranger with an Eddie Bauer seat and center console swap and a very budgeted overland build. Bought it back in may of 2021 as my first truck as a Junior in High-school with a blown 5r55e bone stock nothing touched on it. This truck has turned into a father son project for me and my dad and I’m really grateful to have it and to have him be here to help me work on it because without him I’m sure it wouldn’t be running because I would’ve messed up doing the timing chains. After buying the truck we realized I got pretty lucky and it has pretty much every option you can want on a Ranger and has power everything and my personal favorite thing is the factory LSD. Since then I’ve put every dime I’ve made into it trying to make it perfect to daily drive and have some fun as well. It currently has a 3 inch lift and sits on 285/75 r16 Milestar Patagonias and 16x8 American Racing baja 172s. It also has an affordable offroad bumper and 12k badlands winch. It’s had about every issue you can possibly have with the sohc 4.0 but I still love it. I got an s10 canopy off of marketplace and built a little camper setup in the bed just so I can get lost on weekends and have somewhere to sleep. There has been so many things I’ve done and I have big plans for the future for this ol girl!
