I got a 93 wrangler dana 30 axle with leaf springs, all tie rods steering components etc and even the pitman arm and a steering box, it was basically everything cuz they just cut it all of the frame. so i was gonna use leaf spring set up. they are the cheapest to replace, fix, upgrade, etc and it seems like the easiest to install, what do you think?
and i got it all for free!
thats also another big reason i wanna do leafs lol
Why u think i decided on leafs as soon i went under the truck and checked my frame?
Ill even leave the coil buckets as they are. no need to mess with them for the leafs.
just cut the crossmember, reinforce, and build in your hangers.
and build a plate to mount your new steering box.
id leave the steering for last so u can mount it with the axle and susp done, and get the best angle position for your steering links.
theres another leaf sprung thread with simple and good pics. on the other axles section. its called ny dana30 swap or some like that.

Remember that it wont be an easy affair.
there will be lines that will need new fittings and such.
the newer pump wont have matching fittings on the lines for the jeep box. or the brakes.
Also if i recall correctly, your truck has 4 wheel ABS. so idk how u gonna work that one out.
I would start with the transmission so u get time to gather more parts and info for the axle part.
u should start by gettin a 4wd trans and driveshaft that fits your truck.
there u must decide if ur going electric or manual transfercase.
what engine and trans type u have?
