@Jim Oaks ,
Sorry Mr Oaks; GäZ's research, practical knowledge and guidance are short sighted to increased efficiency OHV Ford 60°v6.

The diagrams I post are from the Chiltons online at my library. I just checked, nothing on 2019 up but TSB info. Too new for even Chiltons I guess.

Repair of vehicles is big business. Printing and selling the literature is big business also. I am sure Mr Oak's has already run into the calls from the copyright lawyers for various things from time to time. Autozone used to have the Ford/Chiltons on their site years ago, they still do have all the other OEM's except the Fords. I used info from that all the time on another board, not sure if I am the one that caused that or not.

They do not seem to care too much with the random diagram here or there. But don't seem to like whole hog sections of repair info. They are passing Right to Repair laws here and there, but that still will not stop them from charging outrageous prices for the information.

They do not want you repairing your own vehicle. You can tell that right away when you go to work on a newer car or truck. Now if we can just get rid of all those ranger owners with those ancient old trucks, we will have the automotive repair industry sewn up. I've got it....stop making repair parts for those old things.

You must have used a little too much "persuasion" trying to put an 8-track tape into a cassette player. A true audiophile never uses the bottom of his boot.

Come to think of it, if I could get a Cologne 2.9 in a 2024 Ranger, I might reconsider purchasing new.

Ya, that reminds me. We need recall and TSB info as well.

Now, now my friend; what you're really saying is that some us of are discerning connoisseurs of vintage automotive art, and thus we opt not to tote the note on the road-capable "devices" that are sold these days in lieu of a real truck.

@Jim Oaks sorry, but my RPC (Ranger Porn Collection) is 1983 through 1994 only; otherwise I would love to send some stuff.

And, I'm just kidding about the "road-capable 'devices'". The new stuff is nice (and expensive!), but some of us just prefer older vehicles.

Now where did I leave my case of 8-track tapes?
The 78 Mark V has an eight track. I got it four or five years ago. Thank God I still had all my tapes from back in the day.

Cool!

You wouldn't happen to have a spare ABBA tape would you? @rusty ol ranger borrowed mine.

you must’ve been pissed off when you couldn’t fit the radio in. I would’ve never sold my F250 for 200 bucks.

Hi Jim. I saw your DM but unfortunately I no longer have access to Prodemand. I have saved a large archive of stuff for 89/94 that has not all been uploaded yet, though.

If we wanted to be efficeient, we could buy a limited time subscription to a single vehicle with some pooled money. Once we have the subscription (3 months long IIRC) we can go through and print all the data to .pdf and host it here. I know they also list TSBs as well as the normal wiring diagrams, torque specs, and shop manuals.

For the non-believers

My daily use “hi fi” system:

IMG_0481.jpeg

Cassette deck, over 5-cd changer, over the 4-channel Panasonic amp I bought in Nairobi in ‘77 (note the 4-speaker joystick in the upper left versus a balance knob).

Yeah, so what?

If you slide the cassette deck forward…

There she is!!! Play - and record - 8-track!

I have a JVC three cd dual cassette deck in the garage, where I work with Carrie, Willy, Elvis, etc. That’s where I can copy CDs onto cassettes to use in Big Red, the Missing Linc and the Town Cars.

@Jim Oaks, I’m pretty sure I have the owners manual for this one, and for the quadrasonic 8-track in the Mark V, but I’ll have to look for them. Let me know if you want to upload them soon.
