I'm hoping someone here has put a C5 or C4 behind a 4.0 and can chime in - what did you use for a kickdown cable? I have done a lot of reading on various forums and the conclusion is that almost everyone is either running a manual valve body or simply leaving the kickdown out completely. I don't want to go that route.
I recently came across a 2 door '94 Explorer that needs a clutch and slave cylinder. Kinda kicking around the idea of building a basic offroad racer out of it and I have had a C5 saved up for this exact purpose. As much as I like manual transmissions I would rather have an auto in a race rig.... and I already have almost everthing I need to put it in, so...
