hello everyone i am new here to the forums. the name is john and i am in search of a complete 7.5" 4.10 ratio axel.
truck was wrecked into a curb and it bent the axel shaft. while dragging my feet about spending the money for a new axel shaft i found a complete one at a swap meet in ohio. the guy told me it had 13k on it and it was from a four cylinder. well he lied and took advantage of me. i spent the 100 bucks and its the wrong ratio. at the time i didnt know how to read the tag. the old axel is gone i sold it. so i dont have the option of fixing the old one and using it. the current axel ratio in the truck is a 3.08. it goes without saying its horrible to drive. extremely poor gas mileage because you have to rev it high to get it to move here in pittsburgh(hills) and the 100 horsepower powerhouse(sarcasm) under the hood dosent have enough power to keep it going on the highway. anyhow i am looking for a complete axel to swap in for my ranger. anyone have a 4.10 ratio complete axel for sale or willing to sell? i am in the pittsburgh area. i am willing to come pick it up. i understand shipping would be a major pain for the seller and me the buyer because of size and weight. thanks for the help and have a good day!!
