- My credo
- If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
My nephew recently inherited the Boss 351 his father bought new. It has the original drivetrain, the engine was rebuilt once in 74/5, toploader 4 speed, and 3.91 geared 9 inch Traction Lok.
Now the bad news, it was wrecked in the early 80's and has sat on the lawn behind his grandparent's house since. His dad was a good guy and a talented mechanic but he was also a "it's not for sale, I'm going to fix it" guy who never fixed it.
There were 1806 total Boss 351's and this car deserves to be preserved, I'd find a solid 71 fastback and rebody it if I were to do it.
Anyone interested?
