I have one. Hands down the best cover I have ever had. No way to damage it.

^I have that cover. FYI though, they arent meant for 28 spline axles. The ring gear hits the cover. You have to grind a little bit away on the inside.

Oh and from what I've heard, SOLID axle industries is out of business? Or did they just get bought out?

i have one, best cover ever. you can get a drain hole and flush mount bolts. its perfect.

the solid one i think will be a little cheaper tho.

I have the one with the load bolts for reducing gear deflection.

It's made of pretty thick aluminum, though I could see if you smacked it hard enough while backing up, you could break it, though I've also heard guys who have done just that and not had a problem.
I added a little steel skidplate to it to protect it anyway.

I've been rocking a stock steel cover on mine for the last 7 years with a home made guard on it. No issues with it ever.
