So I have an 86 ranger standard cab 2wd 2.9. I recently lowered it using a 3/5 kit and air shocks for the rear. So then I went and bought brand new chrome american racing wheels 18x7 with +6mm offset. Well here comes the fun. I knew it would be close on the front for rubbing the wheelwell. Tires are 225/45/18. All was well accept....... I could visually see the negative camber. It gets worse. If I add the needed positive camber it will rub. So here I am looking for options. An ideal option would be to somehow bring the entire front wheel assemblies inward. Is this possible? These wheels were really expensive and I love them. I hate to have to sell them for wheels with more offset. Am I out of luck? Love too hear some thoughts. Than you
