89 5.0 swap durspark II wiring from key??

i have an 89 ranger xlt that im currently swapping a 84 5.0 carb mustang motor into it has a duraspark II ignition sytem and i need help wiring it all up so any help would be great but i need from the key to the ignition module, starter solienoid ect.. the whole deal thanks...

here is the link for the conversion you need to find the start circuit or use the wire to the starter solenoid for the white on the module key on for the red to the module and pos on the coil. Just use the stock TFI coil and run the green from the module to the neg on the coil and the three wires to the dizzy. Pretty simple and just use the stock plugs for the mustang motor as long as it had the TFI ignition. Using the stock TFI coil will give you all the spark you will ever need. Also for the dizzy use the two piece cap and adaptor the electrodes are further apart and eliminates cross firing inside the cap.

You will need to research the cap and rotor and adaptor but the wiring is the same as in the link I gave you.

does it matter wether or not it was originally a 2.3 4cylinder truck or is the 2.8 the same

No it dont know how many cylinders the duraspark works on 4-6 and 8 the dizzy tells it what to do you have the two reluctor wires and the ground and it dont matter between the reluctor wires if you have the ground right the signal is the same either way.
