Had to put a brace on the track bar mount. It was flexing on me. This way it wont move.

Here is my homemade steering stabilizer mount. Took some 1" clamps and welded them together drilled a hole for the bolt and then welded that to the mount.

How close is the pitman tierod end to the trackbar? Is the trackbar a stock length for the Jeeps or did you fab it custom?

The trackbar is for the cherokee. It's the Rugged Ridge can't think of the part number but it should be posted earlier in the thread.

The pitman arm is not that close. Check out the pictures. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pictures.

Thanks! Yes, the pics from the rear of the trackbar mount make the tierod and pitman look a lot closer to the trackbar than it is. I really appreciate the extra pics. Did you have any real issues with where to locate the bracket?

if you look at the pictures, you can see the track bar is directly under the engine crossmember. I wanted to push the front axle forward 2 inches but i would of had to move the coil buckets and steering box also.

I looked at moving the axle forward too, but decided against for the same reasons. I'm lucky starting with the 1990 truck, because the front driveshaft will bolt right up to the D30... Should finish cutting brackets for the swap this weekend, unless my camping trip extends. Ideally, I want everything in place so I can drop the TTB one day, set the D30 in place the next, and hopefully drive it the third day. Ideally. Otherwise, hope it takes no more than 2 weekends of my time, but the the truck is a toy and not needed as a drivable rig anytime soon.

Again, nice work, speedy build, and thanks for all the pics!

It took me a day to have the TTB out and the D30 under the truck. It wasn't mounted but was sitting under it.

Here is how I ran the brake lines. I got the idea from TRS member krousinoffroad.

Here is where I ran the tee. It is behind the crossmember.
