My dad is getting ready to junk his 90 f150 with a 302 e4od and 1356m in it. i would like to take the whole driveline out rebuild eng and tranny. then put it in my ranger to replace my tired 4.0 with 307k on it. but im not to sure about the wiring. The F150 is a non mass air eng.

Could i get a wiring harness and mass air from something else and swap it in?

would it be easier to just swap it to a carb?
but i know if i go to a carb i cant use the e40d tranny with out spending tons of money.

what would be the best vehicel to get a harness and computer out of to make this eng and tranny combo work in my 94?

94 is a 4.0 5speed 4wd truck

thanks

And intake since the f150 intake is to tall for a ranger.

frankly I see no reason why one couldn't just extend the wiring as needed to continue to use your factory harnesses and then use the F 150 ECM
