94 b2300 questions

hi guys its been a long time since ive been on here but as always i come back when im beatin lol . ok so i have an 88 ranger and a 94 mazda b2300
both are 2.3 thought my ranger is a 4 plug setup and my mazda is a 8 plug deal . i want to swap my power steering off my ranger onto my mazda and i love the rangers 60/40 seat vs. my mazda has a bench so i want to swap those out too . so what do you guys think ....con you help me here ????

maybe your 88 has a 2.5l engine? I also have a 94 b2300 and it definitely has the 2.3l with the 8 plug setup

no its a 2.3 on mine just a 4 plug setup keep in mind its quite a year gap but i looked on the block for the stamp 2.3

I'm no help on the engine, but for the seats, my only question is cab size. Is one ext. and one single?

If you don't drive the Ranger regularly, try taking out the passenger seat and measuring the bolt holes, then compare/contrast on the 2300 before you pull any seats from there. I'm not too familiar with 88's, but I just did a seat swap in my Ranger (04 single cab seats to a 94 ext. cab), and had to do some ghetto rigging for the bolt holes. Other than that, it was plug and play.

I like 60/40 seats, but they always seem to get a bad rep. Good luck with your seat swap/engine troubles!
