94 body on 2007 frame ?

i can get my hands on a rolled 2007 ranger with 7000k on it for 800 bucks my question is would i be able to put a 94 body on it both trucks are extended cab

You could, but you might have to relocate a few body mounts, they may not be in the same places...You will also have to transplant the 07 complete electrical harness into the 94's body, as well as the 07 dash, which might be a challenge mounting...But nonetheless doable, sounds like a great project vehicle....

ya its pretty well worth the 800 considering mialage and all the parts that are on it i think the cab mounts have to be changed abit nothin a little :icon_welder: cant fix if it wasnt rolled it would still be a 20000 dollar truck im checkin it out on the weekend to see all the damage.

well i talked to the guy all that it needs for engine is fan and belts everything else is there and truck has 4.10s i think. its the 4x4 sport and when i looked it up apparently thats what there equipped with and it has less than 8000 witch is a bonus gona get it saturday:yahoo:

dude, what area you from? i was actually gonna buy that frame and do a 4x4 swap but decided not to. let me know how it goes. gota love kijiji.

oh btw, he told me it has no rims. just as a heads up.

ya i was talking to him last nite he dropped the price alot and i need a tranny for my truck so im just gonna slap the 4.0l and drivetrain in my 96 the best part is the low k's ill be parting out the rest that i dont need i live in peterborough

went and looked at its way worse i duno if the guy actually knows how bad it is it was run long enough upside down for the fd to get there and have to cut the battery to shut it off the valve cover is busted wide open probly no oil in the motor and i seen water in the hole where the cover was broken only think that might be good is tranny and t case plus it needs to be flat bedded. so im just gona fix what i got.

it is standard practice to cut the positive cable at an accident scene.

The first thing we do is cut the battery to prevent the fuel pump from pumping fuel in the event the fuel line is ruptured, as well as take the ignition source away in case there is fuel spilled from any vehicle involved in the collision

ya my dads fd chief of our home town he told me that but the truck was running with no oil in it upside down dont want to get into motor work and pieces are missing all over the place
