96 ranger clutch replacement

has the self adjusting clutch, only thing is in my line disconnect tool kit it only comes with the 4.0 disconnect tool. anybody know the part number/tool i need for the job. thanks in advance. its my dd so please help:pissedoff:

my set does not have that and neither does advanced auto or Vato zone

but yes that is what i need

that should come in the clutch kit, i got one with my new slave and with the clutch kit, i have heard a screwdriver will work sometimes to get that white color down enough to pop the line out

I know for a fact Napa does, and you cna use two small screwdrivers to push the white retainer clip in, and then pull the line out.

The white circle clip, when pushed in, releases small metal fingers so that you can pull the line out. Just push the white clip in as far as it will go, then pull out the line. Should come pretty easily.

clutch didn't come with one but i had too small flatheads that worked out just fine. funny thing is when i was pullen the tranny it slipped off the jack and poured the entire contents of fluid all over my drive way.

way to go will. I'm not really that dumb guys. just been a bad day
