'97 Explorer 5.0 to '94 Ranger 2WD 4.0L SWAP questions

Just got off the phone with Ron Francis Wiring. These guys say I dont have to be limited in my search for a donor, so long as I use their Televork kit. Apparently, I can source a clean-yet-inexpensive Explorer, pull the motor and ECM, then order the RF kit to eliminate auto trans codes, and it wont matter if its ODB2 motor in an originally OBD1 truck; they create a seperate, custom kit.

Im gonna start another thread on this, would like to see if anyone has experience with a Ron Francis kit. If what they say is true, I can spend way less money on a donor rig and not have to mess with wiring at all, except for install. That's incredible!
