Ok so i swapped a 351 windsor into my 03 edge and used the factory 3 litre mounts and made an adaptor place to secure the engine to. Worked great temporairly until the stock mounts decided they didn't like to handle 300hp lol.

My question is does anyone know if the advanced adaptor mounts will work on my model year truck with a 351 opposed to a 302? If not does anyone know where i can find mounts? I'd make them but my feed motor for my welder shit the bed on me so til that is fixed i'm back to buying parts insted of making them.

Or if there is a combination of parts to make it work i'll go that route.

I don't believe there is an aftermarket mount for 1998+.

Most guys seem to use 4.0SOHC mounts plus adapter plates as you've made.

Do the 5.0 exploder mounts fit to an 03 frame?

I guess I missed seeing that you have the Edge model (torsion suspension). Yes that means you can use the Explorer V-8 brackets and mounts. What headers did you find that work with the 351 and that year Ranger?

ah ok cool. didnt know that. I slapped on a set of 5.0 exploder headers but they dont let the engine breathe at more than 1/2 throttle. BBK makes fox body swap headers for a 351. i'm going to see if they will work. most likely going to have to build my own. First I gotta stop taring apart motor mounts so the motor will stop leaning and I have the right clearances.
