I just bought this truck, and am far from familiar with it.

I'm having a problem locating the PVC valve in "this" engine.

This post:
http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2123&highlight=PCV+valve+location

Indicated that it was "above "the" spark plug, next to the fuel injector".

Assuming that meant the rear, #4 Cyl.; I "searched" around that area with a flashlight & mirror, and didn't see anything resembling a PVC valve--- either in the block, or the
valve cover; nor did i see a hose.

Either "this thing" is extremely well hidden, or I'm looking in the wrong place?

I've searched other posts/forums indicating it was in the Oil Separator Housing (where ever that is?), or in the lower part of the block, on the driver's side?

"Dazed & confused",
Leigh

You have a 2.5 Lima, unless I missed something. The oil separator is an ovalish canister mounted on the drivers side of the block under the intake manifold. It has a 5/8" piece of hose coming out of it. At the end of this short hose the PCV is inserted in-line, with another piece of hose that goes up around the front of the intake manifold and on to the underside of the upper intake, near the throttle plate.
