Hello, my dad is having trouble with the truck. It's a 99 3.0 5 speed and we replaced the heater core. But the truck wont trurn over it cranks but not turn over. We replace the fuel switch, were thinking the fuel pump. and then nothing else. It will crank but nothing else happens. No blown fuses all wires are connected.

Did this start right after you replaced the heater core?

No it did not. When you put the key into the ignition, the anti theft stops flashing. we check the fuel switch and it fine.

Can you hear the fuel pump run when you turn the ignition on ? Check for fuel pressure at fuel rail. Look for the schrader valve = it has a cap the size of a tire valve stem cap. Remove the cap and push down on the valve with a small flat blade screw driver. Fuel should spray out. If it doesn't check fuses then swap the fuel pump relay with another relay. If you still don't have fuel pressure you will probably need to replace the fuel pump. I think it's much easier to remove the bed to replace the fuel pump. Some people like to drop the tank. I've done them both ways I like removing the bed.
