so i'm part way through removing the old shackles so i can install the belltech's (got the top bolts out) but can't seem to get the bolt of the leafspring/shackle hole. i have the nuts off but can't get the bolts out. i have tried beating, prying, WD40.. but it doesn't seem to be working. anybody have similar problems? solutions and advice would be appreciated.

try taking a cut off wheel.. cut the front/back of the bolt on the leaf an then use an air hammer and see if it will come out.. if that doesnt work then try heating it up basically melting the bushing an your going to have to replace the bushings. i picked up some bushings at the local spring shop for 11 bucks a piece. so if you have to go that route its not horrible.

well i don't have an air hammer but i could probably get a hold of a torch and try heating it up, thanks for the idea and if bushings are that cheap then i may as well replace them anyway.

anyone else have other ideas?
