We started out towards Altus, OK around 2:00 p.m
Made it to Coppermines Offroad park around 3:30.
The place was packed.....I mean trucks everywhere, people walking in the roads kinda packed. SWEET!
We got everything set up at basecamp, and then do what we came to do...WHEEL!
I've got some pics uploaded right now, I'm still uploading more as we speak:
First Trip in the park:
Then there was this.....my arch nemisis....this hill is responsible for putting 2 jeeps on their lids, D60 shafts, shackels being shattered, ring and pinions getting smoked. Well my truck was no different. Once you get in the ditch, you better have alot of squirrels under your hood, and be locked front and rear. The 35's I have provided lot's of traction, just not to all 4 tires at the same time. The lift provided enough clearence, but I just couldn't get up the hill, well I tried backing back out, and the rear end was sooo close to the ground (even with 35's) my passanger exhaust tip, got pushed foreward, filled with mud, and ripped up UNDER the tire:
The HILL:
The aftermath (I'm sure there will be jokes from these pics) :
Here's the mud hole:
Then the "Betcha Can't make it through there" statement came up:
Then the front tires stopped turning...."Oh great"
MORE PICS TO COME!!!!
