i guess it's the old problem...Too new to be vintage, yet too old to be available..we may have to learn how to re-make these things.
same year tempos and stangs used many of the same parts switches and such in the steering columns. i swapped horn and blinker switch's out of a 85 mustang in to my 83 ranger,plug and play.. lots of tempos left out there:icon_rofl:

I saw an '86 in the JY today that had the cruise controls on the turn signal, but the horn was still on the wheel. I jerked and pulled on the thing every which way and couldn't get any signs out of it that it had the horn built into it and was stuck in out of an earlier truck.

Ford never was noted for being very consistant I guess. :icon_confused:

And I finally found a good switch in a '88, and I took pics before as I pulled it.
