I picked up 2 explores, a) is a 91 eddie bauer, 3.75 ratio, really nice clean rig, b) is a 92 plain 3.55 ratio parts truck, already used yhe starter and alt on the 91. So I'm working on the 91 explorer 3.75 ratio, doing the ball joints, took the passenger side apart no problems, joints still feel fairly snug. Drivers side had major tire tip in at the top of tire, took it apart, joints still feel snug also. However, the lower joint mount on the beam is kind of concave, and the inner hole ( where the joint actually mounts) looks like someone ran a coarse file vertically through it. And the joint mounts a little loose. So I can take the beam out of my 92 but it has 3.55 ratio. Is it hard to change the front diffs, or do you have to do set ups like the rear?
