looks good, maybe cut some angles on the ends of the channel to make them less square? do you have plans to add recovery points to the front of it or are there tow hooks on your frame? are you still going to be able to get your hands under your winch cradle to put the nuts on the bolts with the plate welded in there like that? just trying to give you some diffent angles to think about before you leave the "tacked together" phase, because we all know its alot more work to go back once youve reached the "totally welded together on every joint" phase.

Yea there should be enough room for that. Tryin to figure out if I want anrecieber hitch or not! And I have a hook on the left frame rail I just need tommake a tab to keep the strap on the hook. I don't know anybody with fab skills and wish I did so I could have made it look better and done a better job on it but Im aparentlyna loser and don't know anybody and don't really have any friends exept all of us on here! :(

lol.. wow. i got lucky and the guy offered to help me out on mine. he did his cutting w/ an oxy/ace torch- and most of the welding w/ an arc.. and it looks awesome!

btw-- i don't think front receivers are really useful unless you move trailers short distances on your own lot. b/c other wise who is gonna drop the trailer off the rear hitch and then turn the truck around to put it on the front just to park it???

dont let having "no fab skills" stop you, you already managed to do demolition on the old one and craft together the structure of a new one, so now you just need to ask your self what else you need your front bumper to do (tow a trailer, hold lights, mount a winch, provide a step in deep water or mud, etc.) fab skills are earned with practice and since you already show initiative to do it your self your skills will only improve. keep up the good work and keep us updated, were waiting to see more pics!
