vin says its an 97 but they didn't make the b3000 in 97 the door says its made in 96 when i got to autozone got to say 96 so what happen u think it was just a leftover and they threw it out there as a 97?

why they didnt make the B3000 in 97?

late models, like in the second half of the year are usually labeled as made in the next year.

for example my truck is made in the first months of 99 so its a 99. a friends truck is made in the late months of 99 so its labeled as a 00
