Alright, got a couple hours today to do a little work. Got the driver side coil bucket tacked in place. Passenger will be much easier. As you can see, I trimmed out part of that goofy section of frame rail by the steering box (really Ford? Why???) and plated it square. Then I tacked in my coil bucket, sits minty!

Actually nevermind. Photobucket is being full retard. Will get the pics up whenever I can.

Hey, thanks Nathan! Welcome to the gong show. :D

Alright, so here's the pics from yesterday. As I said, didn't get much time, but it was enough to get the coil bucket tacked in place! I trimmed out that gay part on the frame where the steering box is, plated it in square, then welded in the coil bucket. Like so.

After that was done, I couldn't help myself, had to drop a coil in there. These are 4.5" EB coils. Deaver 190ppi. :headbang:

That pretty much covers yesterday. I got a pretty solid day in today. I got the radius arm mounts on and welded in place. No picture, sorry. I was too busy working! Also, if you recall that rust hole in the frame at the beginning, I fixed that. Cut it out, made a new piece to fit, welded in place, and then plated over it. No pics of the cutout and repair, but there is one of the plate.

After this was fully welded up, I did lots of measuring, and tacked the passenger side coil bucket in place, checked coil fitment, then welded 'er up solid. Did the same for the driver side, and...

NO JACKSTANDS! :headbang::headbang:
This is ride height. I'm happy enough with the height it's at. And, everything clears at full lock, no trimming. Ah, the wonders of playing with wheelbase. :D

Tomorrow I hope to have track bar done and pull the trans. Sold the M5OD, so I have to yard it out. Plus, gives me an excuse to put in the C4. :thefinger:

More updates to come.

Trying to figure out a panhard... space is EXTREMELY limited with the coil springs and high steer.

Well, I've got panhard mostly figured. Also got the M5OD pulled. But let me tell ya, that panhardwas a real nightmare. Will post up pics when I get some...

Well the front end is done. Well, done enough to steer and have weight on. Still need to finish boxing, beefing and final weld the panhard mounts, but we'll get there. I thought I was going to have to :annoyed: spaghetti the panhard to make it work, but some :beer::beer::beer: gave me better ideas. :icon_rofl:

I had to notch the axle side mount so the tie rod wouldn't hit, I think it's going to work just fine. Everything clears, so I guess we'll see! Also took a pic of my long arms, they have a really good angle, I'm pleased.

And here's the shot I'm sure some people would love to see. I gotta build me some flares!! :icon_surprised:

Well, got my C4 in and my trans. crossmember built. And :yahoo: my calculations were correct, my stock front driveshaft fits! Also pushed the trans. up just a c-hair and I now have a pretty much flat belly, minus the radius arm mounts... :annoyed: Oh well! On to the pics.

That's all for now, thanks for looking!

Looks awesome man. Me and Andrew were talking the other weekend; as soon as all of us West boys get finished, we'll have to meet up and have an RBV wheeling trip.
