Hello All,
I have a 1998 Ranger 3.0 5M. I am having an issue with the truck not wanting to return to idle when I engage the clutch, I do not have any way of measuring the RPMs because I have no tach, but I can hear the RPMs increase when they should be returning to idle. I have replaced the Idle air control valve, and the spark plugs are newish and I have cleaned the throttle body multiple times, but the issue just comes right back after a couple drives or if it sits overnight. If you have had a similar experience any insight would be great, or if there is anything else to fix or clean. Or if I need a new throttle body or something.
