When given half or more throttle it will sometimes quit then come back to life but has no power It will rev to about 4000rpm and just bounce there feels like something to do with timing or fuel. Now I could drive it around still, then the other day it got really bad and didn't want to even climb a hill. New plugs and wires, cleaned the maf sensor, iac sensor etc still nothing. Could it be a fuel pump?

Yes, could be a fuel pressure issue, I would borrow or rent a test gauge to see.

Also change the fuel filter, located in the frame rail under drivers seat.
A partially clogged filter will have limited flow, so pressure will be/look fine at low RPMs and engine will perform normally, but at higher RPMs the flow drops enough to effect performance.

If you hear a rattling it could be a timing chain guide becoming loose, this will effect valve timing on one bank limiting performance, the earlier 4.0l SOHC engine had this issue.

Recently had a similar issue...bogging...turned out to be the fuel filter was plugging up.

When you say it revs around 4K, do you mean it is reving but not actually moving forward? That sounds like slipping clutch...very badly...but the bogging does not so I was a bit confused.
